About
I’ve been where you are.
Need A Cleaner was created from lived experience, compassion and the belief that support at home should never come with judgement.
A skilled ear and a helping hand
I know what it’s like to feel as though you’re in the ground and need a digger just to see the light again.
When life gets heavy, the house is often the first thing to fall. I’ve lived through that cycle of overwhelm where the mess feels like a mountain you can’t climb alone.
When I was at my lowest, I didn’t need someone to just clean for me. I needed someone approachable, someone willing to go the extra mile — not as a critic, but as a friend.
This approach is simple: you are allowed to rest, you are allowed to help, and there is no judgement, ever.
My approach
- You are allowed to rest. If your energy is low, I can bring you a cuppa and make things a little tidier while you recharge.
- You are allowed to help. If you want to work alongside me, I’ll show you tips and tricks as we go.
- No judgement, ever. Nothing you show me will change my respect for you.
Training and boundaries
I have completed a COSCA counselling skills course, which helps me listen carefully, respect your boundaries and avoid assumptions. Cleaning support is not counselling, but it can still be done with care, consent and kindness.
